The owners of the yacht club in Dubna town asked the architect to reconstruct technical
building and make it an administrative and entertainment center. Following the design
project this 2 floors building was divided into some functional areas. Relax and
entertainment zones such as a bar, billiard room and bowling were placed on the ground
floor. Conference room, offices and meeting rooms were located on the first floor. The
best room of this complex became a conference hall on the first floor with a magic view
to a pine forest and a river loop. The general concept of interior décor was defined as a
Scandinavian laconic style. It was a choice for uncluttered space with a lack of fussy
elements, simple forms, rational zoning, emphasis on natural materials. In our design
projects various materials such as: pine beams, metal lamps, beech parquet, veneered
and metal furniture were exposed.
