«Art Deco for parents» The interior of the apartment. Design project. Art Deco. Area 78 sq.m. 2015, Moscow, 2nd Krasnoselsky Lane.
This reconstruction project started from the owner’s idea to make a present for his parents. There were no special recommendations from the part of the customer, so an architect offered his own conception based on lately performed projects. Radical space changing and zoning of the apartment was implemented to the architect’s project. The idea was to remove all curtain walls and combine kitchen, dining room and living room into one open space zone. Sliding, glass doors separated the new living room areas from the hall. We made one space bathroom braking a partition between a bath and a toilet. Lamps and furniture made the focal points in this project. Designers worked hard to bring all décor features harmoniously to Art Deco style. This high aristocratic style was cleverly complemented with ebano wood panels mounted on the walls of a living room and a kitchen that made a good background for kitchen furnishing with 3D panel flaps.
