For the reconstruction of an old one-story house in a cottage village a new design project was
implemented. Two additional levels with higher ceilings were built. A glazed two-story structure for
the kitchen and bedroom, another room with an extra light above the main entrance were added and
ventilated facades were installed. The purpose of the extension was to place the staircase that led to
the first floor and a winter garden. Contrasting façade cladding in red-brown clinker tiles and grey
polished porcelain tiles enhanced the beauty of décor elements. Futuristic windows in the attic
recalled for European half-timbering house. A canopy of monolithic polycarbonate protected
numerous paths and sites from snow and rain. The canopy design became a stylistic connection
between the cottage a new fence made in Art Deco. This fence elements were made of a metal
rectangular profile and painted in brown hammer paint.
