Initially the owner planned to extend a house by adding a kitchen to a façade. The architect’s
proposal was to build a second level space and to prolong a half covered gallery entrance instead of
a staircase. To carry out this project a 2 colors glass element was built above entrance zone where a
winter garden took a place. Step by step the old building was grown into a new one that made up a
double size of the previous one. A new style was a result of discussions and agreements with a
customer. Art-Deco was advised by the architect. Straight lined construction with trapezoidal and
triangular windows defined general architectural style. Insulated façade area was faced with mosaic
of Italian porcelain stoneware. On the main facade, the mosaic passed vertically into a raised pipe
and ended up with a metal cap, thus creating the main architectural dominant of the entire project.
Irregular location of window openings was balanced with wooden dark brown blinds.
